Guest House

When we bought our house almost 3 years ago, the previous owners idea of an addition was to add this trailer to the house. We lived in it for one winter and realized that a trailer built in the 1960s was not made for South Dakota winters. We detached the trailed, parked it in the yard and it had been sitting there up until yesterday! It took less than a half hour to burn (Scary!!) and flattened.

Tate & Lila

Tate was watching dinosaur train and Lila was obviously bored with it and fell asleep!

Tate's Birthday Party

The weather did not cooperate for Tate birthday party but he still had a great time and loved the field cake Jill and I made for him.

Lila's Baby Shower

Today Lila and I went to the library for her baby shower. I think Lila will definitely be set, for a little while anyway! We had a great time seeing everyone and eating good food, well I ate good food, Lila just got passed around!

First Wrestling Matches

Tate had his first wrestling matches tonight, and did really well. He got 2nd place by pinning one guy and beating another guy by points. He did lose to one guy and didn't like that at all! I was the crazy wrestling Mom shouting from the side of the mat but did get a couple of pictures as well.

Napping

Tate was cold after getting home from school and wanted to nap in the fireplace room. This is what I found when I went to check on him. It is a good thing only the door and vent above door get hot.

Tate's 5th Birthday

I cannot believe that Tate is celebrating his 5th Birthday on February 14th! I know Mom has been trying to bribe him into turn 3 instead of 5 and I am starting to wish he would go along with the idea. It just does not seem like 5 years has pasted.

Monster Truck

Last Saturday Mitch and Tate went to monster trucks for their birthdays. Tate enjoyed one truck tipping over and another one that almost tipped. There were also motorcycles and four wheeler races and tricks that Tate loved.
